Why me?
It's a good question, and to be honest, one I've thought about as I've brought StoryForm to life. At my core, I am a storyteller. Starting my career at CNN and later at the Discovery Channel fed my desire to tell visceral stories that connect with audiences. It was satisfying and propelled me for years to come. As time went on, I found new ways to deliver dynamic content I believed was worth telling, helping catapult streaming services in their infancy and creating new ways for people to experience messaging. Fast-forward a couple of decades, and nothing has really changed. It's always about the story. It's about who writes it.
I know. It sounds like a long time ago, but it represents a bigger picture. Over my more than 20 years of driving organizations' revenue, it always came down to creating dynamic, unique messaging. At every stop, my experiences grew, and I learned that, regardless of vehicle or other distribution channels (which change daily), making the content meaningful and resonant is one of my differentiators.
My desire to learn never stopped, and I pushed myself harder, earning an M.F.A. in Writing for the Stage and Screen, where I became an award-winning screenwriter and playwright. These skills, whether writing one-minute and thirty-second stories for CNN or 2-hour plays for the stage, have given me the confidence to develop all kinds of narratives for different purposes.
Being a writer, and a content developer, is who I am. It's why you want to hire me. I am a creator of narrative. I tell stories with arc, substance, and drive that connect people with what they experience. Does this apply to your website, brand development, or social media campaign? Of course it does.
What I say and how I say it matter. It says with no uncertain terms who you are and what you represent. Now more than ever, who you say you are and how you represent yourself to the world matter.
So, if you would like to start a conversation, I'm here. You never know. Maybe I'm just the person you're looking for.
